5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted providers who help us operate our service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery)
  • Team Members: Within your organization for team accounts
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Aggregated Data: We share anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify individuals or websites (see Section 6)

6. Global AI Search Index (Public Statistics)

We aggregate tracking data from all customers to publish the Global AI Search Index — public market share statistics showing which AI crawlers are most active across the web.

What we publish:

  • Market share percentages for AI crawlers (e.g., "GPTBot: 42%, PerplexityBot: 28%")
  • Trend data showing changes over time
  • Category breakdowns (AI Search vs. AI Training crawlers)

What we NEVER publish:

  • Individual website identities or domain names
  • Your specific traffic volumes or page URLs
  • Any data that could identify your website or business
  • Any personally identifiable information

How we ensure anonymity: We apply minimum thresholds (e.g., a crawler must have at least 100 visits network-wide to appear in statistics) and never include website-level data in any public output. Only aggregate percentages across our entire network are published.

Legal basis: This processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — our interest in providing valuable industry insights, balanced against the minimal impact on users since the data is fully anonymized and cannot be traced to any individual or website.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export: Download your analytics data in standard formats
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications

To exercise these rights, visit your account settings or contact us through our support channels.
