2. Description of Service

AI Search Index is a platform that helps businesses track and optimize their visibility in AI-powered search engines. Our services include:

  • AI Crawler Tracking: Monitor when AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others crawl your website
  • Analytics Dashboard: Real-time analytics on bot and human traffic to your websites
  • Page-Level Insights: Understand which pages AI crawlers visit most frequently
  • Free AI Search Analyzer: Instant analysis of any webpage's AI search optimization
  • Multi-Site Management: Manage multiple websites from a single dashboard
  • API Access: Programmatic access to your analytics data (paid plans)

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

AI Search Index offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: Limited features with basic tracking capabilities
  • Paid Plans: Enhanced features, more websites, increased limits, and priority support

For paid subscriptions:

  • Billing occurs on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • All paid plans include a 14-day free trial period before billing begins
  • Plan changes take effect immediately, with prorated billing adjustments

5. Data Collection and Tracking

By using our service and installing our tracking script on your website(s), you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We collect data about visitors to your website, including bot and human traffic
  • We identify and categorize AI crawlers and search engine bots
  • We store page URLs, visit timestamps, user agents, and related metadata
  • We aggregate this data to provide analytics and insights
  • You are responsible for disclosing our tracking to your website visitors if required by applicable privacy laws

6. Aggregated Data and Global Index

By using our service, you grant AI Search Index a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your anonymized, aggregated tracking data to create and publish industry statistics, including but not limited to:

  • Global AI Search Index: Public market share statistics showing which AI crawlers (GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, etc.) are most active across our network
  • Industry Reports: Trend analyses, research reports, and insights about AI crawler activity
  • Benchmarking Data: Aggregate statistics that help users compare their traffic to industry averages

Data Anonymization Guarantees: All aggregated statistics are fully anonymized. We never publish or disclose:

  • Individual website identities or domains
  • Your specific page URLs or traffic volumes
  • Any data that could identify you or your website

Only aggregate percentages and trends across our entire network are published. Minimum thresholds ensure that no individual website's data can be reverse-engineered from the statistics.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Install our tracking script on websites you do not own or have permission to monitor
  • Use the service to collect data for malicious purposes
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the service
  • Use automated systems to extract data beyond API rate limits
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or access controls
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Share account credentials or access with unauthorized parties
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and the tracking technology, are the exclusive property of AI Search Index and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your data remains your property. We claim no ownership over the analytics data collected from your websites. You retain all rights to use, export, and delete your data.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service. However:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice when possible
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features
  • We are not liable for any interruption of service or loss of data

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Search Index shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the service
  • Any analytics, scores, or recommendations provided by the service
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Any other matter relating to the service

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Search Index and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any third party rights, including privacy rights
  • Any claim that your use of the service caused damage to a third party

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
