Akamai DataStream2

Stream Akamai real-time logs to AI Search Index using DataStream2 Custom HTTPS connector.

Authentication

Akamai DataStream2 uses HTTP Basic Authentication:

Username: your-organization-name
Password: bot_YOUR_BOT_TRACKING_KEY

Setup Steps

    Open DataStream2

    In Akamai Control Center, go to DataStream 2

    Create Stream

    Click Create stream

  3. 3

    Select Connector

    Choose Custom HTTPS as the connector type

    Configure Connector

    Endpoint: https://aisearchindex.com/api/v1/logs/akamai
    Authentication: Basic
    Username: your-organization-name
    Password: bot_YOUR_BOT_TRACKING_KEY
    Content-Type: application/json

    Select Data Fields

    Include these fields in your stream:

    • Request time
    • Client IP
    • Request method
    • Request host
    • Request path
    • Response status
    • User agent
    • Referer

    Activate Stream

    Save and activate the stream configuration

Verify Integration

  1. Wait for the stream to become active (may take up to 30 minutes)
  2. Visit your Akamai-served website to generate traffic
  3. Check your AI Search Index dashboard for incoming data
