Data Security & Ownership

How we protect your data and your rights as a data owner.

Security Measures

Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted to and from AI Search Index is encrypted using TLS 1.3. This includes the tracking pixel, API requests, and dashboard access.

Encryption at Rest

All stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Database backups are also encrypted.

EU Data Centers

All data is stored in European Union data centers. We use providers with ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 compliance.

Access Controls

Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only, with audit logging enabled. We follow the principle of least privilege.

Your Data Ownership

You own your data. AI Search Index processes your analytics data on your behalf, but it remains your property.

Export Anytime

You can export your analytics data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON). There are no restrictions or fees for data export.

Delete Anytime

You can delete your data at any time. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

No Vendor Lock-in

We don't use proprietary formats. Your data is stored in standard formats that you can easily use with other tools if needed.

We Don't Use Your Data

We don't use your analytics data for our own purposes, don't sell it, and don't share it with third parties. Your data is solely for your use.

Account Closure

When you close your account:

  1. You have 30 days to export your data
  2. All analytics data is permanently deleted
  3. Account information is deleted
  4. You'll receive confirmation of deletion

Security Incident Response

In the unlikely event of a security incident affecting your data:

  • We will notify affected users within 72 hours
  • We will provide details about what data was affected
  • We will outline the steps we're taking to remediate
  • We will notify relevant authorities as required by law
